The sweater is worked from the top down all in one piece, making it easy to
customize elements for their differing personalities. This is a great sweater that
will carry them through the changing seasons from fall, through winter, and into
the early days of spring. Knitted in Malabrigo, the finished sweater is warm and
soft, great for their sensitive skin. In my family, it is a given that I will give wool
sweaters that need to be hand washed, but feel free to use any yarn that knits at
gauge.
The first option is shown in size 6 on my daughter and uses the daisy stitch with a
hem, and a longer collar, option 2 is shown in size 2 on my son and uses the
blackberry stitch for all of the edging and a shorter collar.
